RANU (Renton Area Nonprofits Unite) is for any nonprofit in or benefiting the greater Renton area. An opportunity for like-minded organizations to network and connect and build bridges.
Each meeting has a subject matter presentation designed to uplift those working in the nonprofit world.
July Topic:Your Nonprofit Partner: You Don't Have to Do It Alone!
Presentation Summary:
Running a small nonprofit requires wearing many hats! Fundraiser, program manager, bookkeeper, marketer, and leader, all at the same time. It can be challenging to find the guidance, resources, and connections needed to grow your organization while staying focused on your mission. Learn how your state nonprofit association can help so you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
Guest Presenter: Diane Lyons, CFRE, CAP (she/her) is the Director of Development at the Nonprofit Association of Washington (NAWA). She has earned certificates from the University of Washington Tacoma in Fundraising Management, Nonprofit Management, and Project Management, as well as being a Certified Fundraising Executive (CRFE) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthopy (CAP). NAWA convenes a powerful network of nonprofit organizations across Washington State to learn, advocate, and collaborate so that nonprofits can achieve their mission. Diane comes to RANU alongside her colleague Jeanine Greco, NAWA Membership Specialist, who is a lifelong Washingtonian with over 15 years of experience in museum programming and community engagement. They have a wealth of information and resources to share with nonprofits in our area. You won't want to miss this presentation!
