Do You Need Additional Workforce Support? Do You Want to Be Part of a Greater Community Initiative?
Join the Renton Chamber of Commerce for a powerful and inspiring Business Development Breakfast featuring the Renton School District’s RISE Program (Readiness, Independence, Skills & Employment) at Talley High School.
This is more than networking and breakfast - it is an opportunity to discover an untapped workforce pipeline, build meaningful community partnerships, and learn how local businesses are helping shape the future of Renton through mentorship, inclusion, and opportunity.
As workforce shortages continue impacting industries across our region, the RISE Program offers businesses the opportunity to connect with motivated young adults ages 18–22 who are developing workplace, communication, transportation, and independent living skills through real-world employment experiences and community partnerships.
Many businesses are discovering the incredible value RISE students bring to the workplace through reliability, enthusiasm, positivity, dedication, and pride in contributing to their community.
This breakfast is designed for businesses, nonprofits, organizations, and leaders who:
• Need additional workforce support
• Want to strengthen future workforce pipelines
• Believe in investing in the next generation
• Want to create meaningful impact while growing their business
• Are looking for ways to become more involved in the community
Presentation Highlights:

• The Business Case for RISE Internships – Heather Evans
