Dress in cocktail attire\, bring your friends\, and delight in a stunning ballroom nestled on the tranquil shores of Lake Sammamish as you Take a Chance for Kids!\n\n\n	Friday\, May 10\, 2024 \n	Ballroom on the Lake\, Vasa Park Resort \n	Doors open 6:30 pm\, casino games begin 7:00 pm \n	Anticipated audience: 200 motivated Bellevue-Issaquah-Sammamish-Renton residents and community leaders \n\n\nTake a Chance for Kids\n\nInitially piloted in the Spring of 2019\, we had full intentions to make this event annual after being so successful the first year. In 2020\, we were unable to host the event and the years that followed required adjusting to post-pandemic life. As of now\, we are in a place to confidently relaunch this event and engage our supporters in a new\, unique\, and exciting way!\n\nWhy Now?\n\nIn the past 3 years\, KidVantage has distributed 21\,675\,918 items and the number of kids we've reached has grown by triple digits\, reaching 18\,000 kids one or more times in 2023.\n\nAs families feel the lasting impact of hardships brought by the pandemic\, KidVantage has strived to bridge gaps. More than 1 in 4 (28%) Washington families cannot afford their basic needs without some kind of assistance. KidVantage takes pride in being that reliable assistance for local families\, and with your participation\, we can continue to fulfill nearly every request (96.7%) for essential goods.\n\nYou can help bridge the gap with your auction donation or sponsorship this spring! Your support of the Take a Chance for Kids event turns into tangible assistance for families and children\, who are facing economic insecurity\, homelessness\, family disruption\, and other difficulties. More than 1\,000 children receive essential health\, care\, and safety items from KidVantage every week. This ensures kids are healthier and happier\, prepared for success in school and life.\n\n\n\nAbout KidVantage\n\nFounded in 1990\, we assist expectant/postpartum mothers and children\, birth through age 12\, across King\, Snohomish\, Pierce\, Kitsap\, and Mason counties through a collaborative network of education\, health\, and human service partner agencies. Our partners work with us to get supplies to families\, we have 200+ access points within the network for families to receive KidVantage services. It is with members of our community that over 7.6 million items left our doors in 2023. Volunteers contributed a total of 23\,099 hours last year. You can donate goods\, volunteer\, or give financial support to make sure kids are getting what they need when they need it. For more information\, visit our website!
