DESCRIPTION:The MSC Helps Luncheon raises funds to benefit Multi-Service Center's programs and services that aim to eliminate poverty by creating pathways to help\, hope\, and dignity for our neighbors throughout South King County. You will be inspired by keynote speaker\, Judge Glenda Hatchett. Nationally recognized as an authority on juvenile and social issues and outspoken advocate for children everywhere\, Judge Hatchett speaks passionately on what we all need to do to save this and future generations. Her presentation reminds us that we need to protect our youth to ensure our future.\n\nYou will also hear first hand how MSC makes a difference in clients' lives. This year\, we will award the Help\, Hope\, Change Award to Marty Kooistra\, Black Home Initiative Project Manager\, and former executive director and board president of the Housing Development Consortium of Seattle   King County\, in recognition of his contribution to the success of others in our community. We hope you join us in October! Want to invite others to attend? You can host your own table of 8 or become a sponsor! Unable to attend? Donate before the event and become a Pacesetter! All donations over $250 made prior to October 10th will be recognized during the live event.
